Penrite Racing Reveals stunning gold livery for 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000

Penrite Racing will carry a sleek gold livery for the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000. 

 

Following on from the vast success of 2023’s brushed copper machines, Penrite Racing have returned to Bathurst with a shimmering livery that will aim to strike gold in the form of a Great Race victory. 

 

The 2024 livery is an evolution of last season’s scheme, which early in its development, followed a similar concept to the half-black, half-gold livery that will adorn the cars at this year’s event. 

 

Penrite Racing have been known for their outstanding presentation through commemorative liveries in Season 2024. Highlights include New Zealand’s ‘Native Livery’, Darwin’s Indigenous Round livery, and the recent tribute to motorsport icon Allan Moffat at the Sandown 500. 

 

The metallic gold hue of the Penrite Racing Mustang’s will contrast perfectly with the sleek black which fans have become accustomed to. There is no doubt that Car 19 & 26 will stand out from the pack as they make their way across the iconic mountain.  

 

The theme motivating the team to strive towards Mount Panorama success is the legacy attached to ‘conquering the mountain.’ A win at the Bathurst 1000 means immortality in the Australian sporting landscape. 

 

Success at Bathurst emanates throughout the Penrite Racing garage. Richie Stanaway is the reigning Bathurst Champion, and searching for redemption following an unfortunate Sandown 500, whilst his race engineer Alistair McVean has been victorious on four occasions.  

 

In Car 19, five-time Bathurst champion Garth Tander pairs up with Matt Payne. Penrite Racing Team Principal David Cauchi, and Technical Director Grant McPherson are Bathurst and Championship-winning engineers in their own right.  

 

Penrite Racing’s striking gold Mustangs will hit the track for the first time during Thursday’s practice one, with the fans catching a first glimpse during the iconic Bathurst ‘Track to Town’ on Wednesday evening.
