GROVE RACING UNVEILS NEW NATIVE LIVERY FOR THE 2024 ITM TAUPO SUPER400 SUPERCARS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND

Grove Racing, competing under the banner of Penrite Racing, is excited to announce the unveiling of its new native livery in preparation of round 3 of the Supercars Championship season, set to unfold at the 2024 ITM Taupō Super400 from April 19-21. This highly anticipated event is taking place right on our drivers’ home turf, in the breathtaking land of the long white cloud.

The transformation of the livery not only brings a fresh and dynamic look for the team but also serves as a tribute to the loyal Penrite Racing fanbase in New Zealand. With the support of the Kiwi nation behind them, they are set to make their presence felt on the Supercars standings.

CEO of Grove Racing, Brenton Grove stated, “To have a New Zealand livery is really exciting for the team as we head to what we feel is like our second home. We can’t wait to celebrate the event with our Kiwi fans and show off how proud the team is to be in New Zealand. “The cars look great, the drivers are ready. We can’t wait to hit the track over there and soak in the atmosphere.”

With both drivers hailing from New Zealand, Matt Payne and Richie Stanaway, after their strong performances at the Bathurst 500 and Melbourne SuperSprint, where they collectively secured the 6th and 7th spots in the driver championships and obtained 2nd overall in team championships, are determined to aim high as they approach the upcoming event.

Matt Payne, driver for Penrite Racing, shared, “I’m incredibly excited to race on home turf in Taupō with our new livery. It’s very cool, and the silver print and design are simply awesome. The support from our New Zealand fans means the world to us, and we are keen to put on an unforgettable show for them.”

Echoing this sentiment, Richie Stanaway, driver for Penrite Racing, added, “We are ready to race hard on the track and make our Kiwi fans proud. I am determined to improve on my performance from the previous rounds and aim for those top spots as we return home.”

Penrite Racing’s naming partner, Penrite Oil, has also extended its support beyond the Tasman, solidifying its position as the official Oil and Lubricants Partner of the 2024 ITM Taupō Super400. Toby Dymond, CEO of Penrite, stated “Penrite is thrilled to return to New Zealand to support our loyal Kiwi customers and showcase our two local drivers, Matt and Ritchie. Racing at Taupo also presents a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with our New Zealand fans and demonstrate the performance and quality of our products.”

Penrite Racing invites fans from all over to join them at the ITM Taupō Super400. This week, they announced an official watch hub at The Cornerstone Taproom (5 Tūwharetoa St Taupo 3330), hosting a fan night, driver meet and greets, and releasing their exclusive New Zealand merchandise. This exclusive range includes all-new New Zealand-specific items such as polo shirts, caps, and stubby coolers, which are available both on track and at the pub. Make sure to show your support as it promises to be an unforgettable weekend in Taupō.
