Recapping their weekend, the drivers said:

Matt Payne said:

“We Had a really good day yesterday finished P6, qualified P5 which I was really stoked about. It was Car #19s first top ten of the year .We had a good day today, qualified P8 this morning and finished P8 and had an unfortunate qualifying. After that, we qualified P16 where I made a small mistake but finished P18 in the final race. It’s hard racing down the back; everyone is trying to climb over each other. It’s hard work but I am pretty happy with my weekend. We’ve got a reasonable spot on the championship, so overall it’s a good weekend.

David Reynolds said:

“I had a pretty good weekend. Rolled out the truck really fast and stayed pretty quick in Qualifying. I was one of the highest placed qualifiers over the weekend in the average of three, and I was always the dominant force in each. In the first race yesterday, we got a podium which is great; fantastic for the team – small reward. This morning’s race we had a little drama; I got pushed off the track and got some sand in my brake duct and that literally destroyed the front of the car, and it was very difficult to win the race after that. The last race I started 4th and drove the wheels off – flat out the whole time and finished 4th so there was not a lot of pace left in the car, but all in all it was a great weekend from the team. Good stops, everything like that was working well so the wins aren’t too far away we just need to be a little bit better on race day.”

Round 4 of Championship will take place in Tasmiania for the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint on the 19th to the 21st of May.
