CELEBRITY CHEF, GEOFF JANSZ TO JOIN PENRITE RACING TO CURATE NEWCASTLE MENU WITH UNOX

Penrite Racing are excited to be welcome celebrity chef, Geoff Jansz to the team this weekend for Round 1 of the Supercars Championship on the streets of Newcastle. Jansz will work alongside team partner Unox to prepare all team meals utilising their state-of-the-art EVEREO® or “Hot Fridge” designed to hold Geoff’s exclusively designed meals.

Unox and Geoff Jansz Food Solutions by Meal Me will provide the meals that fuel Penrite Racing for all Supercars rounds during the 2023 season.

Geoff is passionate about improving food quality and deliverability and is excited to be joining Penrite Racing for the opening round in Newcastle.

Geoff Jansz said:

“Napoleon famously said “An army marches on its stomach,” so we thought to put it to the test at Newcastle with Penrite Racing. Just like the mechanics from Penrite Racing.”

“In order for Penrite Racing to fully focus on all things racing, my food team and I have come on board to focus on designing and serving all meals trackside”, he said.

Team Owner, Stephen Grove said Unox’s technology is second to none and makes for an exciting partnership.

“We can’t wait to have Geoff along in Newcastle preparing his meals for the team and it speaks volumes to how seriously we take the importance of quality food. We’re on a tight schedule, the rigors are gruelling so it’s essential that we partner with somebody who can hit those demands.

“I’m passionate about nutrition and have recently introduced the fastest growing plant-based QSR restaurant chain in the world ‘Copper Branch’ – to the Australian/New Zealand market, so this really aligns with my personal commitment to wellbeing and ensuring the team who are working so hard to make our cars go faster are looked after.”
